Konzept/Gedicht/Off

Der Mensch

Der Mensch verlor sich eine lange Zeit in dem Glauben, dass die Natur, dass der Wald der uns umgibt ein unerschöpfliches Gut sei. Er gedeiht von allein, es reproduziert ohne des Menschen Zutun; die Natur nimmt sich wieder Raum, ein Raum der frei von ihr ist. Man nimmt brutal ein verlangtes zartes Stück und beschaut die zähe Erneuerung die dort sich vollzieht.

Doch gibt die Menschheit nicht benötigte Zeit, nicht den Raum der Wiederbelebung. Immer mehr, immer größer reißt diese Stücke heraus, bis denen ein Ganzes entspricht. Niedergebrannt für Vieh, geschlagen für Massenmöbel, geschlachtet für den Konsum, ist die Erneuerung unterbunden, die von Natur sublim geführte Revolution erstickt. Einzig das Groteske hilft, die von Menschenhand geführte Befruchtung.

Human beings

For a long time, human beings lost themselves in the belief that nature, that the forest that surrounds us, was an inexhaustible resource. It thrives on its own, it reproduces without human intervention; nature reclaims space, a space that is free of it. We brutally take a desired delicate piece and observe the tough renewal that takes place there.

But humanity does not give it the time it needs, nor the space for revival. More and more, ever larger pieces are torn out until they correspond to a whole. Burned down for livestock, cut down for mass-produced furniture, slaughtered for consumption, renewal is prevented, the revolution sublimely led by nature is stifled. Only the grotesque helps, the fertilisation led by human hands.
